Sexual harassment continues to remain a real workplace problem. Media stories and studies clarify the high toll that this misconduct takes on targeted employees, coworkers and the overall work environment. A workplace that allows--and even encourages--such conduct cannot promote respect for all employees to obtain their best performance. Delaware has enacted a law requiring most employers to train all employees on sexual harassment prevention and response. All employees need to understand their role in promoting a healthy workplace, preventing sexual harassment and effectively responding to such misconduct when it occurs.
